Christmas Carnival at Kings Park Street

This Christmas, Kings Park Street organised a two-day KPS Christmas Carnival festival. This 2-day carnival was full of fun and entertainment with free entry to all visitors. People residing in Rajouri Garden, Subhash Nagar, Tilak Nagar, Janak Puri, Dwarka, Uttam Nagar, Patel Nagar, Kirti Nagar turned out for the carnival in huge numbers. They were all greeted by a Santa Claus.
There was something for people of all age groups.

For kids, there was bouncee, and a separate play area where parents could look after the kids while enjoying the sumptuous meals.

For teenagers: There were activities like Shoot-a-balloon, target bucket ball etc. There was a caricature artist who was attending to the couples and elders alike.

Though people don’t find Christmas carnivals an exciting place for elders but KPS Christmas carnival was a welcome change for all the older generation. You could find many octogenarians gleefully engaging the caricature artist!

How can one forget the DJ in such a carnival? Since the crowd consisted of youngsters, west Delhi came alive with the blaring music of the DJ where all the college-goers, executive level youth matched their steps on latest Bollywood songs like ‘Swag se karenge sabka swagat’, ‘Ishq Tera Tadpaawe’ by Sukhbir etc.

The first day of the fest came alive with a dance competition in the KPS amphitheatre. The judges were torn for choices while choosing the winner! Parents, friends, families, and colleagues cheered the dancers and took the KPS Christmas Carnival to an entirely different level!

The haat area of KPS was utilized by food vendors where people of all age groups could take a break and fill their tummies!
